A national brand for Canada's interactive industry, built in two weeks.
CIAIC exists to represent Canada’s interactive industry at a national level, connecting the people building games, XR, AI tools, and immersive media across the country. A brand new national organization has no visual history to build from, and CIAIC needed an identity and an online experience that could carry that weight from day one, on a two week runway set before the design work began.
Design Guidelines came first. Locking colour, type, and voice before anything else meant every later decision had something solid to check against instead of being invented in parallel under deadline pressure. That order is what makes a two week timeline survivable rather than reckless.
The online experience, built on WordPress and Elementor and hosted on Kinsta, went up directly on top of the finished guidelines. Nothing was designed twice, because nothing was built before the brand itself was settled.

CIAIC needed to read like an established national body from day one, and building the guidelines before the build made sure it did.
CIAIC launched in two weeks with a complete identity and a working online experience, not a placeholder. Building the guidelines before the build meant the finished online experience matched the brand exactly, with no gap between what the identity promised and what the site delivered.
The organization had something real to point to from its first day of public existence, at a moment when its credibility with member organizations across the country was being established for the first time.
The foundation is also built to extend. As CIAIC adds programming and grows its national presence, the guidelines already in place mean new material can be produced quickly without renegotiating the brand each time, the same way a solid foundation is meant to work.
A learning and e-commerce platform for public practice accountants, built to sell professional development courses and support compliance work directly, not just describe it.
CanAsia Game Summit needed a brand and a website ahead of its team's trip to Tokyo Game Show. I built the identity, the microsite, and the print materials that traveled with it.
