Days of Significance Campaign Canadian Labour Congress

I collaborated with the Canadian Labour Congress to design a series of digital and print graphics highlighting key days of significance, including Human Rights Day, Black History Month, and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. These assets were used across an interactive website and supporting campaign materials to raise awareness and drive engagement. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, we organized and conducted interviews with individuals whose lived experiences brought depth and authenticity to the campaign. These stories became the emotional core of the project—bridging advocacy with human connection. The result was a visually cohesive and deeply human campaign that invited reflection, learning, and dialogue. While the full interactive experience is no longer live, the remaining artifacts reflect the care, collaboration, and intention behind the work.

Challenge

The Canadian Labour Congress needed a cohesive visual approach to represent a wide range of important dates—each with its own history, tone, and cultural weight. The challenge was to create a system that could hold this diversity while remaining unified, accessible, and adaptable across platforms.

At the same time, the campaign aimed to move beyond surface-level awareness, grounding each moment in lived experience.

Solution

We developed a flexible visual system that could be applied across digital and print formats, including a series of graphics used on an interactive website and supporting posters.

As part of the process, we worked collaboratively to organize and conduct interviews with individuals whose stories brought depth and authenticity to each day. These conversations became the foundation of the experience—informing both the visual language and the overall tone.

The final outcome was an interactive storytelling platform that combined design, narrative, and voice—creating a space that felt reflective, human, and connected.

Result

The project existed as a fully realized interactive experience—layering stories, visuals, and meaning in a way that resonated deeply with its audience.

While the website is no longer live, the remaining artifacts reflect a thoughtful, collaborative process and a body of work rooted in care, representation, and shared experience.
