Challenge
The Canadian Labour Congress needed a cohesive visual approach to represent a wide range of important dates—each with its own history, tone, and cultural weight. The challenge was to create a system that could hold this diversity while remaining unified, accessible, and adaptable across platforms.
At the same time, the campaign aimed to move beyond surface-level awareness, grounding each moment in lived experience.
Solution
We developed a flexible visual system that could be applied across digital and print formats, including a series of graphics used on an interactive website and supporting posters.
As part of the process, we worked collaboratively to organize and conduct interviews with individuals whose stories brought depth and authenticity to each day. These conversations became the foundation of the experience—informing both the visual language and the overall tone.
The final outcome was an interactive storytelling platform that combined design, narrative, and voice—creating a space that felt reflective, human, and connected.
Result
The project existed as a fully realized interactive experience—layering stories, visuals, and meaning in a way that resonated deeply with its audience.
While the website is no longer live, the remaining artifacts reflect a thoughtful, collaborative process and a body of work rooted in care, representation, and shared experience.
